Who runs the Committee?

Parliamentary Committees are composed of the chairperson, vice chairperson, Ranking Member, Vice Ranking Member and  other Members  of the committee. The Chairperson of the Committee chairs of  meeting of the committee and can be described as the one who runs the committee. A member of Staff from the Clerk's office is assigned to the committee and provides administrative and procedural support to the committee.
