The Committee on the Poverty Reduction Strategy was set up as an Ad Hoc committee in the Third Parliament to have oversight responsibility of the Ghana Poverty Reduction Strategy. The current committee made up of twenty members has oversight over  the Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy (GPRSII)
