In collaboration with the World Bank Institute (WBI) the Parliamentary Centre organized a Video Conference for 8 Members of the Finance Committee and Public Accounts Committee, 4 staff of parliament comprising clerks from the two Committees and the Research Department and 1 Parliamentary Liaison officer from the Ministry of Finance on the subjective of Legislative Budget Offices.

 

This event which brought together Members of Parliament from Ghana, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Thailand to discuss the subject of Legislative budget office aimed to increase the efficiency of the oversight functions of the Legislature by strengthening the ability of Participants to monitor public expenditures.
